We've included answers to the most common questions about the FOI26 conference and the FOI Awards below, but if you have any other questions please get in touch with the eCase team.
FOI26 Conference
No, there will be no charge to attend the conference for those in the public sector.
Access to the conference will be restricted to those working in Information Rights, unless they are guest speakers.
The conference is extremely popular, and places are limited. We will initially restrict the numbers of those who attend from each public sector organisation to 2. However, all further people from the same organisation will be added to a reserve list. We will confirm places and contact you if we need to include a reserve list for your organisation later this year.
Full details of how we will use use your data are outlined in our privacy policy.
FOI Awards
No, anyone can enter these awards and they are being judged independently by the judging panel. Whilst eCase have taken the initiative to run these awards because it wants to support the Information Rights community and celebrate the great work its practitioners do, nominees will not be favoured for using eCase or penalised for using competing products or services.

Yes.
Yes, you can make as many nominations as you wish, in multiple categories. You can also nominate the same person or team/organisation in more than one category. However, our rules state that a person cannot win more than one of the individual awards and a team cannot win more than one of the team awards.
Yes, please share your experiences so far.
Yes, they absolutely do! Consistency is admirable and the judges want to hear from organisations/nominees where ‘good’ is being maintained.
Yes, they are! Don’t forget: you might not think you’ve done anything special... but that might be very special and inspiring to someone else – please tell your story.
Please still nominate - we want to hear about significant positive change and we want to hear from people on a journey to do it. Your story could inspire and help others.
If you are a winner, you will receive a trophy. No other gifts or prizes are associated with this competition. As a winner, you will, however, also be asked to participate in the creation of a best practice case study which will help share best practice and promote your work throughout the Information Rights community. There is no monetary gain for being a winner.
